Far Meadow Farm Barn

Far Meadow Farm was built at the 1756 Samuel Barnard Homestead in the heart of Morris, CT, in the northwestern corner of the State, three miles south of Litchfield. The house, the town’s first blacksmith shop, and three 18th century barns located on the property, have been meticulously renovated and restored.

Another 18th century barn which was moved from Vermont and reconstructed, is now our Hay Barn.

These buildings have been supplemented with additional structures and facilities to make Far Meadow Farm a true state-of-the-art equestrian center.

The Main Barn has very large matted stalls with cross ventilation, and 12 foot aisles.
